It is always preferable to have a clean car to maintain your exterior, but not strictly necessary. We thoroughly clean the inside of your car’s windows before installing 3M window tint. Extremely dirty vehicles, however, can increase the risk of debris being trapped between the film and the glass.

No. All window film is measured using proprietary techniques and is trimmed on a clean glass surface to avoid any possible damage to your vehicle.

Pro Tint of Orlando installs computer-cut window films, which are matched to the exact make, model and year of your car using specialized software and cutting plotters. Most vehicles manufactured after 1992 or so are included in the database. Computer-cut films allow for faster and more consistent installations, with less margin for error.

Occasionally, the patterns cut by the programs do not always fit correctly and may need to be re-cut for a professional installation. Our professional technicians handle all of this for you to ensure the best fit possible.

Pro Tint of Orlando does not provide mobile installation. Tinting in unprotected areas allows dirt to get between the glass and the window film, causing bubbles and impurities in your film. A clean environment is paramount to professional film installation. We operate out of three Central Florida locations, serving all of Greater Orlando.

There are a number of fly-by-night window tinting companies that open and close under different names in different locations. These people seem to use the $99 or less tint job to get a number of first-time customers. The films are sub par and the installation second-rate. How many cars have you seen with purple tint or bubbled up rear glass? That’s the $99 tint job.

Pro Tint of Orlando carries a full line of 3M window films which are backed by 3M’s nationwide lifetime warranty. 3M’s warranty covers fading, bubbling, peeling, discoloration and more for as long as you own the vehicle.

There is no way to properly fix window film other than replacing the damaged piece. We can remove and replace any damaged film on your vehicle.

Once your windows are tinted, you can clean them with any cleaning solution that does not contain ammonia. A clean microfiber cloth and a mild soapy water mixture will do the job. Pro Tint of Orlando recommends a silicon-based glass cleaner, it brings a wonderful streak-free shine to the windows.

Pro Tint recommends keeping your windows rolled up for 3 to 5 days. In colder weather, it may take longer for the windows to cure. Three to five days is usually an ample amount of time before you can roll you windows down.

With newly installed window film, it’s normal to see some water spots and streaks. These will fade away during the 30 day drying period. If you see any abnormalities after that, please bring your vehicle back to us so we can take a look at it.

Yes! If anybody brings in two or more vehicles to be tinted on the same day, Pro Tint of Orlando offers a 5% discount for the second vehicle. Both vehicles must be getting film installed on at least their side windows and rear glass. The discount would be applied to the lesser value of the two cars.

Pro Tint of Orlando recommends following your state’s window tinting laws. We have heat lamp displays at our Central Florida locations that demonstrate how our 3M window films will look and feel when applied to clear laminated glass.

In Florida, the legal limit is 28% visible light transmission (VLT) for the front driver and passenger windows. For sedans and coupes, the rear windows must be at least 15% VLT. Multipurpose vehicles such as trucks, SUVs and vans are allowed to tint their back windows down to 6% VLT.

There is an AS-1 line marked on your front windshield to show you how far down non-reflective tint can be applied. It is illegal to tint your full front windshield dark in Florida.

Shocking information I also learned is that there is even an option to tint the entire windshield. I have an older car and did not want to put any more $ than the necessary into it, but next time, I’m in.

Wow ! What a difference the tinting made. It makes our vehicle so much more enjoyable to travel in. We were so pleased with the work and the results, that we took our Mazda MX5 and had them tint that vehicle. I am very picky about that vehicle and would only go to someone I absolutely trust ! The beautiful young lady at the front counter was a big help in getting exactly the tint we wanted for the Mazda. I We are very pleased with the tinting they did on both our vehicles and would recommend them to anyone wanting a professional tinting job.
